Candace Rhoill
Director
Candace Rhoill is a passionate advocate for equal access to quality early childhood education. She has been the administrator for Little Promises Preschool since 2020. She has over 12 years’ experience in early childhood education as both a teacher and director. Candace has earned an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, an Early Childhood Director Certificate, as well as as Early Childhood Education Trauma Credential. In her free time, she loves to read and be in the city exploring new things. She is married and has 9 children and 2 dogs.

Yolanda Cowins
Lead Teacher
Yolanda is an experienced foster parent who is passionate about investing in the lives and education of young people. She is a skilled teacher who enjoys seeing children learn and grow.

Erin Grasty
Lead Teacher
Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Mount St. Joseph University, has more than 6 years of experience in special education. Erin speaks French as well as American Sign Language. Erin is passionate about learning languages, volunteering, theatre, dogs and epilepsy awareness. Erin’s favorite part of being a teacher is inspiring an early love of reading and watching little minds bloom. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog, volunteering for local nonprofits, and karaoke. She also may or may not be a Disney Princess!

Aiesha Baber
Assistant Teacher
Aeisha is currently pursuing her CDA and is excited to grow her skills as a teacher!

Abbey Witzgall
Toddler Lead Teacher
Abbey graduated McAuley High School in 2010 and studied Classics at the University of Cincinnati for 2 years. Abbey is currently working on completing her CDA. Abbey enjoys life at home with her partner (Pete) her dog (Kona - Psychiatric Service Dog), many fish. Abbey's passions are: FC Cincinnati, Ohio Junior/Senior Classical League, and enjoying silly knock knock jokes and puns. Abbey and Kona love teaching in the toddler classroom.

Shikia Newell
Assistant Teacher
Shikia is a mom of three, who grew up in Cincinnati Urban Promise programs herself. She is excited to be giving back to students! She is currently studying to receive her CDA.

Amanda Wilder
Assistant Teacher
Amanda is a mom of three girls. She is currently working on her CDA and loves being an assistant teacher.
